COVID -19 Protocols from The Promise Institute & The Ministry of Education

More information on the COVID - 19 protocols for the upcoming school year.

Welcome Parents,

The 2020-2021 school term has begun. We have implemented the Hybrid learning approached. Thus, students will report to school (3) three days out of the week for the month of September 2020. The three days in question are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, students will remain at home and they will be taught via Zoom.

In light of the new protocols, students are required to have the following:

  1. Cotton Uniforms - (Short pants for boys)

  2. Laptops

  3. 5 (five) Face Masks to cover nose & mouth. Masks can be purchased from *P-B- Masks at a cost of $4.00 (four dollars) each. Contact person: Mrs. P. Burrows- Telephone: 368-2291

  4. Personal Hand Sanitizers (Each)

  5. Clorox Disinfecting Wipes

Further, please be advised that:-


  1. STUDENTS WILL NOT USE OR SHARE:- Food, Lunch, Books, Pencils, Pens, Masks, Jugs, Water, etc

  2. The kitchen will be closed for the month of September 2020. Food can be warmed by the classroom teacher. NB. Students must bring their own water for now.

  3. ​Snacks will be on sale & sandwiches ONLY.

  4. Parents will NOT be allowed on campus.

  5. The temperature of students will be checked at the gate.

  6. Hands will be washed upon arrival at school.

  7. No sick child/children will be admitted on campus.

  8. Registration Fee -$50.00 fifty-dollars, this includes the cost of picture ID.

  • All students must have insurance. This can be purchased at the school for a cost of $20.00 (twenty dollars). It includes 24 hours coverage with Colina Insurance. NB. If students have private insurance, a copy must be submitted to the office to be placed on the student’s file.

  • School T-shirts are still available at the school. They can be purchased for $10.00 each.

  • All School Fees & Registration Fees can be paid to the National Workers Co-operative Credit Union (Account - The Promise Institute) or Scotiabank in my name Diann M. Wilson. Once the transaction has been made, kindly What’s App the receipt of the transaction.
